Three of the five U.S. cities with the largest year-over-year home price increases in February were in the Midwest, led by Cincinnati with a 4.3% rise. Kansas City and Pittsburgh also saw 4.3% gains. The Midwest was the only region with a price increase (+0.2%), while other regions saw declines. Limited inventory and affordability are driving demand in the Midwest, despite a national rise in active listings and economic uncertainties affecting the housing market.
