As summer winds down, I’m seeing a familiar seasonal shift in the housing market. Nationally, new U.S. home listings have ticked up by 1.2%, hitting a three-month high. At the same time, pending sales dipped 1.3%, reaching their lowest point since March. The median asking price inched down by 0.1%, even though the median sale price is still up 1.8% compared to last year—a sign that, despite higher mortgage rates and ongoing economic uncertainty, real estate values remain resilient. Having guided Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky buyers and sellers through changing markets since 1989, I know how important it is to keep these trends in context, whether you’re weighing your next move or just keeping an eye on the numbers. My commitment is to help clients navigate every twist and turn with confidence, drawing from years of local experience and a passion for real estate education.
